About You What are your goals? What are your plans? What is it you want to get out of exercise and how do you know where to go to make that happen? These are all good questions and we intend to answer them. This page is dedicated to you and what you want. Just read on or click the links to find out what we do and how we help.
Your First Day As a potential or new member, you'll be scheduled for a very helpful appointment with one of our elite coaching staff. During your appointment, you and your fitness coach will review your health history, goals and your past and current exercise experiences. The fitness coach will then assess your body in its current state using a full postural evaluation. Your fitness coach will assess you through a range-of-motion analysis and a functional movement screen which assesses your ability to perform several basic movement patterns, squatting, stepping, etc. We also assess abdominal strength during this session. This session is very important as they screen for potential problem areas in your body, areas of weakness or inhibition and provide us with a blueprint to reach your goals, so please wear comfortable workout attire. While you won't be exercising per se you will be moving quite a lot. Once your session is complete our program design team will then customize a resistance-training program for you based on your goals, exercise preferences and workout schedule. A plan of action will then be developed that will help you achieve your fitness and/or physique goals How Will Your Program Be Designed? Whereas other gyms will give you the same program over and over, use the same cookie-cutter format, or change workouts based on the calendar day we give you a complete fitness experience using any and every proven tools necessary to accomplish your goals. By giving you a full assessment and listening to what you want and what your body needs we can get you the results you want, and teach you to keep them for the long term. On top of that we do it without compromising your time or your health.
How Do We Make Sure Your Service Stays the Best? Here at Sanctuary Fitness we are constantly evolving. Researching, studying, and attending events featuring the top minds in the fitness field to be sure we are giving the latest and most scientifically valid programs. Our programs and approach changes and evolves constantly just as you do. The base scientific principles don't change. But assuming you can apply them in the same way for a ballet dancer as you would for a football player would benefit no one. So we constantly ask the leading researchers in nutrition and supplementation what eating habits best serves which goals. We seek out the top coaches for everything from pro athletes to fat loss to make sure our program design is taking people to their peak. And we seek out the leading minds in rehab and corrective exercise to make sure we are 1) not doing a detrimental to our clients. And 2) making sure our clients get the full benefit of mobility, flexibility, and reduced pain possible from a properly designed exercise program. How Will We Take Care of Your Health & Accomplish Your Goals? Fundamentally this is simple. The application though is where the magic happens. We listen to what you what want, explain how to accomplish it, and then coach you while keeping communication open. Seems so simple, yet so many people in the fitness industry don't do this. We listen to what your goal is. Then based on a full assessment we develop a strategy. If your goal is unhealthy we will tell you. If it's doable, we will give you the timeframe. We then provide all the tools needed to accomplish the goal. Finally we coach you. No yelling, no bargaining, no berating, just education and encouragement.
